Use this troubleshooting tree to help diagnose problems when errors are reported
by the waveform monitor’s diagnostics.
Power on the
instrument.

Run the Full Powerup Diagnostics
from the Configuration menu.
Are
diagnostic errors
reported?
Remove all modules from slots 2 --5.
Rerun the diagnostics
Are
diagnostic errors
reported?
If problems persist, refer
to Check for Problems
on page 4--27.

Reinstall each module (one at a
time) and run the diagnostics after
each module installation to isolate
the faulty module.

failures relate to any of the
following items:
Empty area tests,
NVRAM tests,
FLASH tests,
PLX 9054 tests,
SDRAM tests
