Finding Detailed Contact Information
1. Press the Directory button.
2. Use the and navigation keys to scroll to the name of the person for whom you want to find
contact information.
3. Press the Open soft key.
The person’s contact details are displayed.
4. To return to the main Directory screen, press the Back soft key.
Using the Intercom through Directory
If you have the proper permissions, you can use the Intercom for internal extensions.
1. Press the Directory button.
2. Use the and navigation keys to scroll to the name of the person you want to use the
intercom to contact. (To scroll quickly, press and hold a navigation key.)
3. Press the Open soft key.
The person’s contact details are displayed.
4. Press the Intercom soft key.
The phone initiates an intercom connection.
Dialing a Voice Mailbox from Directory
1. Press the Directory button.
2. Use the and navigation keys to scroll to the name of the person whose voice mailbox you
want to call. (To scroll quickly, press and hold a navigation key.)
3. Press the Open soft key.
The person’s contact details are displayed.
4. Press the Dial VM soft key.
The phone calls the voice mailbox of the person you selected.
Tip
If the ShoreTel Connect administrator has enabled presence for the user, the presence icon in the
Directory indicates the current status of the person you want to call. For details about the
presence icons, see Ta ble 4 on page 22.
