5. At the prompt, press the Unassign soft key again.
Your extension is unassigned from the phone.
Getting Help
If your phone is running in a ShoreTel Connect CLOUD system, the phone includes a Help soft key
that lets you immediately contact a member of the ShoreTel Connect CLOUD support team.
This feature might also be enabled for phones in a ShoreTel Connect ONSITE system, depending on
whether your ShoreTel administrator configured this option. If configured, your call would go to your
organization’s internal support organization.
To place a help call:
1. Press the Help soft key on your phone.
A confirmation window is displayed.
2. Press the Yes soft key to confirm that you want to place the call.

Placing Calls
To place a call, you can use the handset, the speakerphone, or a headset.

You can also unassign a phone by using the voicemail system. For more information, see
Assigning Your Extension to a Phone on page 64.
