Shooting Mode
W FIREWORKS
Slow shutter speeds are used
to capture the expanding
burst of light from a firework.
Press the selector left or right
to choose from shutter speeds
between 4 s and 1/2s. Use of a tripod is
recommended to prevent blur. The flash turns off
automatically.
E SUNSET
Choose this mode to record
the vivid colors in sunrises and
sunsets.
F SNOW
Choose for crisp, clear shots
that capture the brightness of
scenes dominated by shining
white snow.
G BEACH
Choose for crisp, clear shots
that capture the brightness of
sunlit beaches.
H MUSEUM
Choose where flash
photography is prohibited or
the sound of the shutter may
be unwelcome. The flash,
speaker, self-timer lamp, and
AF-assist illuminator turn off automatically.
ANote
Photography may be prohibited altogether in some
settings. Obtain permission before shooting.
I PARTY
Capture indoor background
lighting under low-light
conditions.
