^B02 Send Next Group of Records
In Data Release Mode, this command is used to send the next group of call records. When
Command ^B01,n is invoked, PollCat III will release a group of "n" records or blocks and then
pause. To display the next group, type ^B02 [Enter]. Command ^B02 is only valid in Data
Release Mode and cannot be used in a command string.
Notes:
If Command ^B54,2 (Release Data with ^B02) is active, and Command ^B01,n is
invoked to release data in groups of "n" records or blocks, a ^B02 is required in
order to release the first group.
If Command ^B52,2 (Hold "END DATA" Message) is active, and Command
^B01,n is invoked to release data in groups of "n" records or blocks, a ^B02 is
required in order to release the "END DATA" message.
^B03 Send Banner Message / Command String
Displays the Banner Message, Auto Execute Command String, or Report Mode Command
String that is defined using Command ^B04. Type ^B03 [Enter].
^B04 Define Banner Message / Command String
Defines either a Banner Message, Auto Execute Command String, or Report Mode Command
String. Note that Command ^B04 cannot be used to simultaneously define all three items.
Banner Message: Often used to list the company name and installation site. When Command
^B04 invoked, the following format is used:
^B04,message [Enter]
Where message is the Banner Message text (up to 64 characters).
Auto Execute Command String: This Command String will be invoked when PollCat III calls
the polling device, and the correct password is not entered within 10 seconds. The command
string will not be executed when the polling device calls the PollCat III. In order for the
command string to function, the Auto Execute feature (^B69,2) must be enabled. The
following format is used:
^B04,*command_string [Enter]
An asterisk (*), rather than the ^B character, is used to indicate an Auto Execute Command
String. Each command in the string is separated by a backslash as shown in the following
example:
^B04,*00\20\09 [Enter]
The Auto Execute Command string should always end with Command ^B09 (Disconnect). This
will prevent PollCat III from being inadvertently left in Command Mode.
