^ B68 Select Duplex Mode (Command Echo)
Selects either Half Duplex (no echo) or Full Duplex (echo). Full Duplex mode will echo each
keystroke to your display monitor.
A half duplex (no echo) situation can also be created by invoking any command with the "^A"
character substituted for the "^B" character. When "^A" is used, PollCat III will not echo the
command back to the polling device, regardless of the current status of Command ^B68.
^B68,1 Half Duplex, no echo (Default)
^B68,2 Full Duplex, echo
^ B69 Enable/Disable Auto Execute Option
The Auto Execute command string will be invoked when PollCat III calls the polling device,
and the correct password is not entered within 10 seconds. If the Auto Execute command
string is not defined, PollCat III will execute the default command string (^B01/09). This will
cause the unit to send all records stored in the current memory partition, and then disconnect.
In order for this feature to function, Auto Execute must be enabled (^B69,2), Direct Connect
must be disabled (Select Switch 6 = DOWN), and an Auto Execute command string must be
defined using Command ^B04.
Note: The Auto Execute command string will not be executed when the polling
device calls the PollCat III. The Auto Execute command will only be performed
when the PollCat III calls the polling device and the correct password is not entered
within 10 seconds.
