VS-6 CONNECTED TO NILES MULTIZONE AUDIO RECEIVER USING THE IR INPUT PORT
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION 2
(The VS-6 is designed to integrate with the MultiZone receiver’s commands and route
the video of up to six audio/video sources to as many as six zones)
1. Three component video sources are connected to Component Video Inputs 3, 4 and 5. The video
sources’ audio signals get connected to the corresponding audio inputs on the Niles MultiZone Receiver.
2. Component Video Output and Balanced Video Outputs of the VS-6 are shown connected to a ter-

the video signals are sent to their respective rooms using cabling through the wall ending at either
a C5-HDDA Balun as described in System Configuration #1 or a Niles RCA-3D (FG00521) Decora-
style 3-RCA connector Convenience Outlet.
3. The VS-6 gets control command via a 3.5mm to 3.5mm connection cable from the Niles
MultiZone Receiver’s Global Flasher Output to the VS-6’s rear panel IR Input Port.
4. The Niles MultiZone Receiver has its keypad, speaker and antenna connection shown connected
to a Niles termination panel. Termination panels are designed to be wall mounted using the sup-
