to return to the
Main Menu and then select Vehi-
cle Diagnostics.
b. If the Tool is unable to display a
definition for all the DTCs
returned by the vehicle, you
may get an Unexpected Results
- No definitions found for some
DTCs error message.
To view the DTCs, press
EN TER
.
Press the
UP or
DOWN
arrow keys to scroll through the DTCs.
c. If no codes are found, a
message appears indicating
that No Codes were Found.
d. If DTCs are found, the code
and a definition will appear. For
more information about the
structure of the DTCs, see
Understanding DTCs” on page A-1.
Press the
UP or
DOWN
arrow keys to scroll through the DTCs.
4. To return to the Diagnostic Menu,
press the
BACK
key.
Note: On most vehicles, if you successfully
repair the cause of the DTC, then the MIL
should turn off after the vehicles successfully
runs its self tests.
